Im 14yrs young and in the 9th grade. Im very active and simple. I try new things all the time and now im thinking about make-up. Im not asking for very much at all. Im going for a very ';light'; look for school days. I have VERY dry and sensitive skin. I am light-skinned. I have glasses and round eyes. Im am considering eyeliner and mascara because i really only know what they are but i am confused about what kind to get and use.
So if you can help me and shed some light on the subject that will be very helpful. The shade price brand etc. should be included thank you.Make-up advice for young teen?
dry skin:
if you want to wear foundation, stick to
liquid and cream formulas and avoid powders.
powders can make you look chalky and even more
dry. always start with a moisturizer like neutrogena.
sensitive skin:
don't pile the makeup on or put just anything on
your skin. the best brand for sensitive skin is clinique
by far - but if you're on a budget then try l'oreal. look for
words like 'oil free' and 'non comedogenic'.
light skin:
-consultation (clinique counter or sephora)
-test on your face, not your hand
eyeliner:
i'd stick to just mascara. since you wear glasses, this
can make your eyes look super small.
mascara:
wear one that will give you length and volume like
cover girl lash blast or mac zoom lash - both in brown/black.
cover girl is about $8 and mac is about $12.
everyday routine:
-moisturize
-apply foundation
-apply mascara
-use lip balmMake-up advice for young teen?
A little mascara, brown eyeliner, and some pink lipgloss would be good (that tends to look on almost everyone with light skin). Even a little blush if you want to.
I wear this and the products I use are;
Mascara - Almay One-Coat Thickening mascara
Eyeliner - Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes in 2L
Lipgloss - Neutrogena Moistureshine in Fizz
Blush - Covergirl Cheekers blush in Peach
