Any advice for a teen trying to loose weight?

Hey, guys. I'm 13 and I need to loose about 75 pounds to be in a ';healthy weight range.'; I'm really lazy, have no free time, am a picky eater, LOVE to eat, and hate to exercise. Most of the stuff that I do eat isn't total junk but I really wouldn't call it health food either... Any advice?Any advice for a teen trying to loose weight?
I think the answer to healthy weight loss is regular exercise and a more healthy diet. You don't have to exercise to death to lose weight. If you're just starting out, you should do it 3-4 times a week for 20 minutes each session. Once you start to do it regularly, you should feel that you have more energy throughout your day. You can gradually increase the number of days and amount of time later on if you find that you aren't losing any weight after a few weeks. Remember that exercise doesn't have to be boring and hard. You just have to do something that increases your heart rate. Find something you like to do. I like to walk on the treadmill while watching TV.

You should also reduce how many calories you eat. I believe a growing girl your age should be eating around 2,500 calories per day. If you decrease that by 500 to 2,000 calories a day, you can lose 1 pound per week. That's healthy weight loss. Of course everyones calorie needs are different, so use the numbers as an example. I also recommend drinking half a glass of water before you eat to curb your appetite. Eating after you exercise is good advice since your body does burn calories quicker for 3-4 hours. Find a friend who can motivate you too if you can. It's really great that you know you need to be healthier at your age. Best of luck and I hope you I've been some help!Any advice for a teen trying to loose weight?
Sorry, there's no way to lose 75 lbs. without working at it. Here's what I did to get in shape for the Navy: Eat a light breakfast, like a bowl of cereal and a piece of fruit. Eat a semi-light lunch, like a sandwich and some yogurt. Try to exercise at least 45 minutes per day. (I usually walked on my treadmill at 4 mph for an hour, but you may not have that much time to exercise every day) As long as you eat supper right after you exercise, you can pretty much eat whatever you want, to a certain degree, since your metabolism is firing on all cylinders. Drink plenty of water, watch the fattening snacks, and try to limit yourself to only a few regular sodas per week if you drink soda. I did this, and I lost 45 pounds in 5 months. Oh, and take a multi-vitamin.
you need to lose 75 pounds? that doesn't sound healthy for a thirteen year old...maybe eat healthy and good portions and join a sport or dance.

Oh and drink lots of water; It's really good for you
if you don't like to exercise maybe you can play dance dance revolution on the weekends or something...like a workout but fun
